FAQ

  • What is your cancellation policy?

As we strive to provide excellent care and accommodate all our clients, we require at least 48 hours notice to cancel or reschedule any session. This policy is crucial for us to manage our scheduling and offer your slot to other clients in need.

A one-time exemption is granted for every client.

For emergency cancellations within 48 hours notice, the fee can be waived upon approval from the owner.

For cancellations with less than 48 hours notice, 100% of the session rate, will be charged at Vetiver Mind, LLC.

We value your cooperation and thank you for your understanding.

  • What is your refund policy?

We have a non-refund policy at Vetiver Mind, LLC

  • How long is an EMDR therapy session?

A typical EMDR therapy session lasts from 60-90 minutes. It could take one or several sessions to process one traumatic experience. The goal of EMDR therapy is to completely process the traumatic experiences that are causing problems and to include new ones needed for full health.

  • What is a Good Faith Estimate?

Ending Surprise Billing with the Good Faith Estimate

As of January 1st 2022, under the No Surprises Act law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services. You have the right to request and receive a “Good Faith Estimate” (GFE) explaining how much your medical care will cost you.

Under this law, you have the right to receive a GFE for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services including related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.

You can ask your provider to give you a GFE in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service, or you can also ask for a GFE before you schedule an item or service.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 425-357-9111.

  • What are your fees? Do you accept insurance? How does insurance work?

We are an out-of-network provider (OON). This means we will provide you with a super bill at the end of the month, upon request, to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.

First, please check with your insurance carrier to determine what your mental health coverage is. We recommend calling the phone number on the back of your card to determine out of network benefits. Please ask the following questions:

Do I have a deductible? You may have an individual or family deductible. You may also have a different deductible for in network vs. out of network benefits.

    What is my copay?

    Do I have co-insurance?

Once you have determined this information, our welcoming staff will confirm your benefits & explain what your responsibility is for each office visit.
